We seek a Team Lead to oversee our Back Office Development Team across Denmark and Singapore. If you are a seasoned team leader or a strong technical lead ready to transition into leadership, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role As the Back Office Team Lead, you will lead a team of ten developers, overseeing the development and maintenance of our Back Office system, which manages all aspects of the trading day. You will ensure high standards of precision, performance, and reliability.

This role involves collaboration with engineering teams (Trading, Integrations, IT Operations) and business units across London, Singapore, Australia, and the USA. Additionally, you will drive process improvements, enhance technical excellence, and shape the culture within ClearVision R&D.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Back Office Development Team.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the Back Office system.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align development efforts with business goals.
  • Drive process improvements, team efficiency, and software quality.
  • Ensure adherence to test-driven development and quality assurance best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Identify and address technical challenges and risks.

 Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Lead or Team Lead.
  • Strong background in software engineering, with additional experience as an Architect being a plus.
  • Proven ability to engage with clients and deliver business value.
  • Experience with business-critical application maintenance.
  • Strong test-driven development mindset with a focus on quality.
  • Previous experience with trading platforms or financial systems.
  • Knowledge of Foreign Exchange (FX) and Contracts for Difference (CFDs) is a plus.
  • English proficiency required; applicants must hold a valid Danish work permit.

Work Environment

  • Location: Copenhagen office at Amerikakaj, with a 35-member R&D team.

  • A global work environment, collaborating with teams across the UK, Singapore, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Australia, and the USA. The annual number of travelling days is expected to be in the range of 15-20 days.
