PPC Manager

The PPC Manager will own and develop a paid search strategy for Markets.com globally.

The role will encompass driving new customers, the day-to-day running of campaigns as well as budget and account optimization

What you'll be doing

Essential functions & responsibilities

  • Development of a PPC strategy for global markets
  • Setting, tracking and delivery of PPC KPIs based on business and marketing objectives
  • Identification of SEM targets for growth of visibility, traffic, acquisition and efficiency
  • Day-to-day running of paid search campaigns (with a focus on reaching the relevant audiences through bespoke targeting and localization)
  • Account restructure & campaign building, keyword development, bid management and ad copy creation
  • Ownership of PPC optimization and performance results (budget management, responsibility for targets )
  • Full reporting responsibility for PPC with identification of improvement areas and the ownership of solution delivery
  • Evaluation and implementation of the most suitable PPC optimization, tracking platforms and acquisition tools
  • On-going identification of opportunities for customer acquisition growth
  • Delivery of testing roadmaps (LPs, creative & ad copy, user journeys )
  • Collaboration with other acquisition channel owners, cross-business departments and 3rd parties to support project delivery
  • Sharing best practices, knowledge, experience, results & test findings
  • Keeping on top of the latest innovations in search and digital marketing & across the industry/competitors and testing these as appropriate

What you'll bring

  • 5 years+ hands-on PPC experience working in an agency or running PPC activities in-house
  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related disciplines – advantage
  • 1-2 years’ experience managing a small team
  • E-commerce/ gambling/ financial service PPC experience – essential
  • Strategic thinking and planning
  • Hands-on implementation experience
  • Understanding of registration/first interaction to conversion model as well as the full acquisition funnel
  • Understanding of PPC & cross-channel tracking
  • Thorough knowledge of Google Ads, Apple Search, UACs, Bing, Google Analytics, Facebook and other relevant implementation, optimization and tracking platforms
  • Desirable: experience with YouTube/Video and Display/Remarketing
  • Strong analytical, reporting and Excel skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • A team player who also feels comfortable working autonomously as well as fitting into a large-scale organisation
