Role & Department

As a Vice President in Sales & BD, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the firm’s key institutional client relationships in all our key distributed products. .

What you'll be doing

You will need the ability to be fluent in and navigate in these products effectively among a broad range of clients (Banks, Private Banks, CTAs, Fund Managers and UHNWI) along with idea generation of and production of market insight.  In addition, you will bring a collaborative approach to working within a global team of both trading and sales syndicates to provide comprehensive client coverage across the different platforms

What you'll bring

  • You will have at least 5 years of sales experience in a financial services institution (bank, trading house, fund manager etc.)
  • The ability to understand, Leveraged FX, Precious Metal and Securities products with keen focus on the Fund space for OTC Leveraged products.
  • You have client-facing experience in the relevant products.
  • You will have developed and established relationships with key investment grade institutional clients at both trading and portfolio management levels.
  • We are looking for critical thinkers and drivers of trade concepts and themes for institutional clients.
  • You will have a strong understanding of fundamental product knowledge and market structure and be able to spot market opportunities.
  • You will be a clear, logical thinker with a strong qualitative skill set including effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong team player that partners well with principals of the platform including Research and Trading.Qualifications
    • A Degree in Business or Finance (or related field)
    • A professional qualification in Business or Finance (or related field)
    • 5+ years of experience working in a similar position / FX institutional market

     

    Other skill sets required

    • Advanced user of Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent English Written, Verbal and Interpersonal Communication.
    • Strong sense in teamwork with communication and interpersonal skills
    • A forward-thinker and not one to shy away from sharing ideas and insights
    • Ability to work under pressure, work proactively and diligently
    • Fluent in English & Mandarin (Spoken and Reading)
