The DNC gets underway amid a febrile election build-up, whilst central bankers gather later in the week for the annual Jackson Hole Symposium. 

On the economic data front, traders will look to the latest Canadian inflation and retail sales figures, whilst flash PMI figures are also due for the Eurozone, UK and US. 

FOMC meeting minutes will also be watched closely.
