Luis Raposo Dos Santos is Finalto’s Sales Director for Latin America, based in our London office.
Luis is visiting Chile, Colombia and Peru from 9-13 June 2025, where he will meet with existing partners and clients, and develop new business opportunities. We spoke to Luis about his forthcoming trip.
What are your plans for your trip?
I have a number of meetings lined up with existing and prospective clients. While virtual meetings are indispensable, I still believe there’s no real substitute for sitting down face-to-face. In-person conversations help deepen relationships and often lead to more open discussions, especially in less formal settings.
What does Finalto offer to local businesses in Chile, Colombia, Peru and across the continent?
We’re seeing strong demand across the region for a range of products, including NDFs in South American currencies, as well as strong interest in crypto, gold, and other assets. But beyond our product offering and technology, what really sets us apart is our service. We combine global reach with a deep understanding of local markets, offering fully customised liquidity solutions. Our clients in LATAM benefit from seamless access to global markets, supported by our world-class international reach, network and trading infrastructure.
You recently attended the iFX Expo LATAM 2025 in Mexico City. What were your main takeaways?
The expo was great. The energy and number of opportunities underlined how dynamic the sector is across the region. At the same time, challenging global market conditions mean there needs to be continual innovation and smart management strategies.
I’m excited about leveraging our world-class infrastructure and expertise to help our partners navigate market volatility and political risk.
How can people get in touch with you?
I’d love to get an opportunity to meet in person or arrange a call. I’m available by email: luis.santos@finalto.com or via LinkedIn. I look forward to hearing from businesses anywhere in the region looking for innovative liquidity offerings!
Thanks and buen viaje!
